Rooted in the traditions of the Klahoose First Nation, this eco-cultural journey offers a rare opportunity to connect with Indigenous culture in the remote coastal wilderness of British Columbia.
At the award-winning and sustainability-focused Klahoose Wilderness Resort, guests are welcomed into a meaningful cultural experience through storytelling, traditional practices, and a guided visit to the sacred ancestral site of Ahpokum.
Accessible only by boat or seaplane, this 5 day retreat (4 day option also available) all-inclusive retreat also features guided boat tours through Desolation Sound, with chances to see whales, waterfalls, and—in spring—bears along the shoreline.
With full-board meals inspired by local ingredients, access to kayaks, forest trails, and a waterfront sauna, the Discover Klahoose package offers a unique blend of Indigenous culture, wildlife, sustainability, and peaceful escape.
