This is the first coach tour I have ever done and it was definitely well worth it! The pros of this particular tour are you see a lot of the... read more Rockies, including the glorious lakes in a short space of time. On my tour we had two great guides; Becky and Diana who went above and beyond in ensuring that all guests were happy. Knowledge of the local area was good and they paid particular attention to the history of the land/ regions in terms of the First Nations peoples (also both had great senses of humour). The hotels selected were nice and comfortable all had pools or hot tubs (sometimes both). There are a good range of activities on the tour and ample free time at the overnight spots. I would recommend paying the add on for the Banff gondola; the views from Sulphur mountain where simply magnificent. It was a clear day when we visited so this made it all the better. The second add on was for the ice field; again which I did. Having done something similar in Iceland it was a little disappointing but still worth doing the experience (you can’t stand on an ice field any where in the world). Slight con was you don’t get to spend much time at each destination but this is compensated by the volume of activities and sites you visit (not a real negative). There was plenty of communication from the company in terms of meet times, schedules etc. all in all would highly recommend if you don’t have a car and want to see the Rockies. I was a solo travel and felt welcomed and safe throughout the trip.
We did the Victoria and Butchart garden tour. It was amazing. Our tour guide was Kim, she was great. We truly enjoyed this tour.

Megan was terrific! We were only in Vancouver one day before an Alaskan cruise. We saw just enough of Vancouver to get us psyched to come back.

In Victoria we visited the Butchart Gardens and the town of Victoria and Ian was very informative about the area and helped us visit the most interesting and important landmarks .
I highly recommend Ian and Discover Canada tours .
Exploring Victoria on foot was terrific and very easy; Butchart Gardens is a beautiful experience and easily toured within the time allocated.
The girls (Camila and Mara) were amazing. The tour was a really good experience for 1 day traveling.
This was really a fun day trip to Victoria and Butchart Gardents. Our guide, Sabio, was really great! He was informative about areas as we travelled to the... read more ferry. We really enjoyed the ferry ride - beautiful scenery of the mountains and it was still a little cool in early June so enjoyed the weather. At Victoria island, Sabio did do an optional walking tour which everyone joined. He was so nice and patient with all of us. We got to share some chocolates from a chocolate store at Victoria which were very good. My husband and I really enjoyed this tour! Greatly recommend it.

We spent a lot of time in the bus but it worth it.
We really enjoyed our day trip to Victoria and Butchart Gardens. Zac provided lots of information and worked really hard to make sure everyone had a good time. Victoria... read more is lovely and the gardens are awe inspiring. It’s an all day trip but Zac made it flow really well and since they use a smaller bus, we easly interacted with the other passengers who were all so friendly and having a good time - happy smiles all around!

This tour was a sentimental one for me and did not disappoint. What a beautiful and interesting part of the country. Kim our wonderful guide was not only informative and... read more extremely helpful, she was a real local and even took us past her childhood home village giving us a real sense of life in Victoria.
She gave sooooo many recommendations for food and activities on the tour and even offered her ongoing assistance for recommendations afterwards.
The ferry trip is spectacular.
Luck of the drawI was a little “tired” today from watching my Winnipeg BlueBombers beat the also undefeated Calgary Stampeders yesterday to remain first place in the west. And... read more luck of the draw Nataliia and I got the effervescent Guide/Driver/(entertainer?) Kim. Kim’s charm and timely dialogue made the time fly by and had me laughing and forgetting my hangov.I mean tiredness. The local knowledge and storytelling was amazing. However the caring attitude, attention to detail, preparedness and safety made me feel most comfortable. Great driver! I highly recommend Discover Canada Tours for the Victoria Butchart Gardens tour. I will use this tour company again and hope that Kim is leading the group.
We had a beautiful time visiting Banff with this tour. It was extremely relaxing , surrounded by beauty and great food. Our tour guide Heather had so many interesting facts... read more in store for us that it made the journey all the more interesting. The hotel accommodation was great especially the one in downtown Banff. We covered so many spots , it made every penny worth it. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants to visit Banff by road. It dosent get any better than this !
Wonderful day seeing the beauty of this area. Gardens are a must for any visitor, especially when the roses are in bloom. Ian, our driver and guide was informative and... read more entertaining! Wonderful dat!
Went there four days, everything was astonishing and amazing. It was a lot of driving but Becky and Christine entertained us in fantastic ways. Entertainment on a bus for 9h... read more can get really cringey but theirs was awesome, like really, you hear the tap tap on the microfone as they test it and you know that you're gonna be laughing.
There's not much to say about the places I mean, they were great but it's not like they made 'em.
The bus was confy and there were not too many people, would highly recommend it.
Just put one of the last photos I got when the bus stopped for one of the washroom stops because I'm too lazy to get to the others, srry haha.
(actually got the explorer tour but there's no option to select that)
Camila and Brandon are amazing. They gave us all the support and tips. The city is charming. I want to go back.
The stories from Ian, and the information provided in advance for the destination.
The van was quite comfortable.
I was so lucky to have Becky, Selina, and Reina guiding me and my parents through the Rocky Mountains. I appreciate their enthusiasm during the whole trip and how they... read more interact with the group. Becky's jokes are the best. Please keep up with the good work guys.
Every place we visited was amazing, including the optional activities. Nice choice of hotels. The breakfast provided exceeded my expectations. The trip was perfect.
Thanks to Benjamin who answered my questions when I was booking my trip.

The tour guides... read more - Becky, Selina, and Reina were so pleasant, friendly, professional and experienced. I will surely recommend this trip to friends and hope to go on another trip with Discover Canada Tours. It would be nice if the tour bus had WiFi ( I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for it).
Kim was an excellent tour guide, and very knowledgeable about Victoria.
We were there on Canada Day, and enjoyed the walking tour through Victoria as well as... read more the ferry ride to and from Vancouver. Butchart Gardens was a tremendous treat. It would have been nice if bottles of water were provided for the tourists as it was very hot on the day of the tour.
Discover Canada Tours is a professional , well-managed, family owned, tour company. The Vancouver Tour bus was clean, comfortable and provided good window views. The guides were punctual, knowledgeable and... read more friendly. The four hour tour encompassed the key areas of the city. I unreservedly recommend going on an excursion with Discover Canada Tours!
From the moment I spoke with Lizanne to book this tour, to the great tour guides, to Graham in the office to hear my feedback I am impressed by this... read more small western travel company. 1st class hotels, Small buses to navigate those out of the way places ( though not much leg room and views were some what impeded out the front windows). I would highly recommend this tour company.
Bus tour with Jafar and Will was amazing! They were informative and helpful. We went to Banff and back. They pointed out wildlife and even stopped to... read more watch a Mama bear and her 2 cubs. We stopped in Hope BC which is where Rambo was filmed and Highway thru Hell. It was a really nice small town. Our 1st night was at Mike Weigels heliport resort. The resort was really nice but definitely not what we expected. Thankfully Jafar took our suitcases to our room as we could not have gotten them up steep outdoor stairs. We had to stop at a grocery store to buy our dinner as there are no restaurants open. We bought subs, others bought food that needed to be cooked in a communal kitchen, dining hall and living room, that we didn't know about, but was a great way to meet the people we were on the bus with. The resort did provide us with a very nice breakfast. We stopped in Jasper for lunch but only had 40 minutes and spent that in the deli waiting for food, so never saw anything of the town. Stopped at Athabasca Falls which was beautiful and a few other informative spots. Onto to the Columbia icefields, because another couple and us were from Ontario and have seen snow, we didn't do the extra tour to the top of icefield. So Jafar was kind enough to take us to the bottom of the icefield and we could walk on the bottom of the glacier and see how far it had receded over the decades. Banff is SPECTACULAR! We went to Sulphur Mountain on the gondola and had a paid for breakfast, sights were amazing and saw a mountain goat relaxing or trying to get warm outside the restaurant. The breakfast was ok but could have been hotter. We had a day on our own which was nice and other couple and I went to the hot springs. Nothing special as it was in an outdoor pool but since it was cold out it was a nice to see the views from a warm place. Lakes Louise, Morraine and Emerald were so beautiful we lucked out as the ice had melted. Onto Revelstoke, we stayed in the Sutton Place Hotel that was amazing, we had our own suite. We had dinner in the hotel that was very good. Stopped at the Last Spike and a taste of wines at an Indigenous Winery, in Kelowna Drove through the Fraser Valley, back to Vancouver where we said good bye to many friends that we made on our 5 day journey. We stayed in the Sheraton Wall Centre. The next morning we were met by Nick and Brandon, our new guides to take 5 of us from the first half of our trip to meet up with others taking the Pacific Rim tour. Took the ferry over to the island had breakfast (pretty good) We stopped in Parksville to see a nice beach. We stopped in Coombs at a flea market type town. So many nice things to see but the stop was definitely not long enough to eat and shop!! 45 minutes I could have spent half a day!! But then again I like to shop. We stopped at a grocery store again and picked up breakfast stuff and snacks for our stay in Ucluelet at Black Rock Resort. OMG what a resort, right on the ocean, views from our room were great. Again another suite with a kitchenette and bathroom to die for...soaker tub and huge walk in shower with views of water. Dinners were very good there.
Next day we went to Tofino. If you aren't doing any of the extra activities (whale watching, kayaking, surfing) you better ask the guides if they can take you back to the resort or stay back, as it is a very long day at least 7 hours. Nick and Brandon were kind enough to take 4 of us back as you can only see so much in Tofino after being there 4 hours. Next day went for a 3km hike and had amazing views of the ocean and lighthouses and trees bent every which way. Onto to MacMillan Provincial Park where we saw 800 year old trees that were so large you can't imagine. Back on the ferry and then say good bye to the new and old friends that we met on this wonderful trip. The only negative I have is that I wish we had worn masks as we 5 of us came home with Covid. The guides are not required to wear them.
I highly recommend this tour if you are a young at heart and love nature. Hotels are 1st class and tour guides fun and informative and they want your trip to be amazing. Thank you Jafar and Will and Nick and Brandon.
A must see/do for all Canadians!
Just got back to Vancouver after a fantastic tour led by Heather and Brianna. I've never booked a multi-day tour anywhere on my own before so was a bit apprehensive... read more before the tour but they put me at ease and I had a great time and met lots of great people from all over the world.
