FAQs

Is the resort accessible for people with mobility issues?

While the resort is situated in a remote, wilderness setting, certain accommodations and facilities are accessible to individuals with mobility challenges. Please contact the resort ahead of time to discuss specific needs, as some trails and activities may involve uneven terrain or limited accessibility. The staff is committed to making adjustments where possible to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.

Are children welcome on this tour?

Yes, children are welcome at the Klahoose Wilderness Resort. The tour offers a unique opportunity for families to connect with nature and learn about Indigenous culture together. However, some activities, like the boat tours or cultural ceremonies, may require children to be accompanied by adults or have specific age recommendations. It’s a great experience for children to engage with nature in an immersive and educational environment.

What type of accommodation options are available?

Guests can choose between the cozy Lodge Rooms and cedar Cabins, both offering stunning ocean views and comfortable amenities such as private washrooms, bathrobes, locally sourced bath products, and a mini-fridge. Room availability is subject to request, but both options are priced the same. You can let the resort know your preference when booking.

Is there Wi-Fi or mobile service at the resort?

Yes, the resort offers complimentary Wi-Fi in the great room lounge, allowing guests to stay connected. However, due to its remote location, mobile service may be limited or unavailable in certain areas of the resort or during boat tours. It’s recommended to plan for a bit of a digital detox during your stay!

Do I need to bring my own equipment for outdoor activities?

No, all necessary equipment for activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, and hiking is provided by the resort. If you prefer to bring your own gear (such as personal hiking boots or a camera), you’re welcome to do so, but the resort is fully equipped to offer a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests.
