This itinerary explores the best of what Vancouver Island has to offer. Begin with a spectacular BC Ferries crossing from Vancouver to BC’s capital city of Victoria, where we spend the night. Explore the famous Butchart Gardens and have sufficient time to explore the city at your leisure. Stay in the seaside town of Parksville before heading to the laidback town of Tofino, the whale watching and surfing mecca of BC. The drive on the Pacific Rim Highway is stunning with views of the rugged coastline and lush rainforest.

- Explore the city with Fisherman’s Wharf, the Inner Harbour and Government Street or head out to more nature at East Sooke Park or Brentwood Bay.

- Via the Malahat Highway and its pretty views over the Southern Gulf Islands head north towards Central Island.
- Make sure you arrive in Parksville in time to watch the sunset. They are almost as pretty as the sunrises here.
