Our Safety Protocols for All Tours
-Proof of vaccination required on all scheduled tours commencing September 13-
Starting September 13, proof of having at least one vaccination will be required for those 12 and older to access certain social and recreational events and businesses to help protect people from COVID-19. By October 24th guests will be required to show proof of full vaccination. Due to the fact that many of our suppliers fall under the PHO guidelines to require proof of vaccination, we also must make this a requirement for joining any of our scheduled tours.
Throughout the pandemic, we have continued to implement stringent protocols to keep staff and visitors safe, and will continue to do so at every stage— which now includes proof of vaccination for guests which is required by some of our suppliers.
We encourage all of our guests to know before you go and familiarize yourself with the health & safety protocols and requirements at each destination we visit.
We look forward to welcoming you, and thank you in advance for respecting the protocols in place to keep us all safe.
As we adjust business operations and implement this new requirement to keep us all safe, please be patient—we’re in this together!
1. Tour Sizes
We are working with the provincial and federal governments to assess the number of passengers that we will be carrying per tour. Be assured that we will be following every regulation that is laid out.
2. Pre-Departure Checks
Before departing on any tour, we will be taking a number of precautions before guests are allowed to board the bus.
We will be doing a contactless check-in process. Details of the exact check-in process will be given to you on the day of your departure.
You will be required to answer a series of questions:
- Do you have a fever or a cough?
- Do you have a fever and difficulty breathing?
- Have you been refused boarding in the past 14 days due to a medical reason related to COVID-19?
- Are you the subject of a provincial/territorial or local public health order?
Please adhere to the 6 feet rule when gathering at the departure point.
3. On-Tour Precautions
We will be following the government recommended stance and encouraging all guests to wear masks on the bus or while in close proximity but will not be enforcing the wearing of masks as of March, 11th. Guests are encouraged to carry masks with them at all times to ensure that they can get into all establishments and areas as some businesses might still have their own policies in place.
4. Respecting and Supporting Host Communities
In addition to the safety of all our guests, the safety of the residents in the communities we visit is paramount and we expect all of our guests to adhere to the policies put in place in each community we visit.
It is also important to support the local business in the communities we visit. We ensure that all the destinations we visit we work with local suppliers to support them and grow their business. Help us to help other local businesses.
5. Rooming Precautions
We have also updated our rooming options. You will now be able to book five room types. All rooms require guests from the same party apart from our Share
- Single Room
- Double Room
- Triple Room
- Quad Room
- Shared Room with one other solo traveller of the same sex (price is based on Double Occupancy)
6. Our Staff
Employees receive daily wellness checks as well as perform regular self-assessments to ensure they are healthy and symptom-free.
Due to the unprecedented times, certain activities or inclusion may be cancelled. We will attempt to substitute any cancelled experiences, but it will be based on supplier and provincial recommendations. Please contact us if you would like to know if certain activities are available on the departure day you wish to book. You can call us on +1(604) 689-8128 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
As we have said, the safety and wellbeing of our guests are paramount. We look forward to seeing you on one of our tours soon.
