Overview
This tour provides the ultimate Western Canadian experience. Take in the most awe-inspiring views of mountain ranges, forests, and rugged coastline as you travel from Vancouver through the Okanagan Valley, Rocky Mountains and Vancouver Island. Stay overnight in the famous towns of Banff and Tofino as well as downtown Vancouver. Go for a hike in the mountains and rainforest. Swim in glacier lakes and the ocean. Enjoy the abundance of wildlife with the possibility of seeing grizzly bears, black bears, whales, and so much more. This is a once in a lifetime experience you do not want to miss! Trip Itinerary
- Depart downtown Vancouver at 8:30am (please arrive by 8:15am)
- Travel through the Fraser Valley and the Okanagan Valley
- Visit Spahats Falls in Clearwater
- Check into the beautiful log cabins at Mike Wiegele heli-skiing resort (shoulder season tours will stay in Valemount instead)
- Option to go for an evening canoe (included) or refreshing swim in the lake (not available for shoulder season tours)
- Breakfast in the hotel (included)
- Sightseeing stop at Mt. Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies
- Stop in the town of Jasper
- Travel the Icefields Parkway and enjoy sightseeing along the way
- Stop at the Columbia Icefields with the option to join the World Renowned Glacier Adventure (additional cost)
- Stop at Bow Lake
- Arrive in Banff and check into your centrally located hotel on Banff Avenue
- Enjoy a group dinner (included)
- Start the day off with a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain Gondola where you will take in the magnificent views of the Rockies while enjoying your breakfast buffet
- Enjoy a scenic tour around Lake Minnewanka & Two Jack Lake Loop
- Enjoy a tour of Banff townsite including Bow Falls, HooDoos, Banff Springs Hotel
- Free time for shopping and sightseeing on Banff Avenue or participate in an exciting outdoor activity for a discounted price such as horseback riding, whitewater rafting, canoeing (bow river float), hiking, caving, hot springs, fishing, etc!
- Evening at leisure in Banff
- Breakfast in the hotel
- Explore beautiful Lake Louise & Moraine Lake
- Leisure time at Emerald Lake with the option to rent a canoe (seasonal)
- Check into the beautiful Sutton Place hotel at Revelstoke Mountain Resort
- Enjoy the resort amenities and free time to explore historic downtown Revelstoke and have dinner
- Enjoy breakfast at your hotel
- Visit Craigellachie and the Last Spike
- Travel through the Okanagan Valley with a stop in Kelowna for lunch
- Visit a winery – tastings included
- Return to Vancouver at approximately 7:30pm
- Check into the Sheraton Wall Centre
- Evening at leisure
- 6:45am – Arrive at Canada Place in Vancouver where you’ll be greeted by your Guide
- 7:15am – Depart for Horseshoe Bay and check in for the Ferry to Nanaimo. Keep an eye out for wildlife as we make the crossing
- Scenic stop for lunch near Parksville
- Visit the famous Coombs Market just outside of Parksville, look up to the roof where their resident goats
- Arrive in a beautiful Ucluelet.
- Check into the Black Rock Oceanfront Resort and enjoy the onsite amenities and nearby trails and beaches to explore
- Depart for the Town of Tofino. Today you can choose to explore the town on your own or book one of the optional activities such as whale watching or kayaking. We highly recommend booking in advance. You will have a full day to explore Tofino
- Option to join your guide today on a leisure walk/hike to Tonquin Beach. Easily accessible from downtown Tofino for those who want to explore on their own
- Stop at Long Beach on your way back to Ucluelet this afternoon
- Free evening to relax at the resort
- Option to join your guide at Big Beach for a campfire & marshmallow roast, a 10-minute walk from the resort (fire ban dependent)
- Check out of your hotel this morning and make your way to the Wild Pacific Trail: you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the rugged coastline, and the working Lighthouse that marks the end of the trail
- Visit Cathedral Grove, a protected old growth forest with ancient Douglas Fir trees dating back more than 800 years
- Arrive in Nanaimo and check in for the ferry back to the Mainland
- Arrive in Downtown Vancouver, Canada Place at approximately 9:00pm, depending on traffic
