Welcoming Winter: Featured Tours You Won’t Want To Miss

News & Events

As the weather cools down, it’s a common Vancouver tradition to lament the ending of summer. However, with winter comes so many exciting opportunities for adventure. At Discover Canada Tours we are super excited about a few upcoming tours in particular, these are trips you won’t want to miss:

Rockies Winter Tours

Our first official Winter Rockies tour, the Rockies Winter Classic, heads out on the November 9th long weekend. Winter comes early in the Rockies and it will already be starting to look like a winter wonderland up in these world famous mountains. Some highlights of the Rockies Winter Classic include participating in a First Nations cultural experience, seeing the world famous Lake Louise in its wintery splendour, visiting Banff in the heart of the Rockies, and warming up by the campfire with some marshmallows and s’mores!

Whistler Opening Weekend (WOW)

One of the most exciting weekends of the year, Whistler Opening Weekend attracts snow lovers from all over to “send it” into winter. It’s a great festive environment to be a part of with lots of special events happening around the world-famous village. Spend two nights in the heart of Whistler, shred the day away and experience the international Whistler party scene at night. This is the ONLY tour of its kind this year and we expect it to sell out quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment.
