INTRODUCING DISCOVER CANADA TOURS

Created in 2005, Discover Canada Tours, formerly known as Club ESL Tours is a division of UNIGLOBE Specialty Travel Ltd (UST); a full-service travel management company based in Vancouver, BC, which has been in business since 1988 and is fully insured as a tour operator with BCPCA.

From 2005 to 2009, the primary focus of Discover Canada Tours was the international student market. We have established close relationships with both private and public post-secondary education institutions in addition to high school districts with whom we work closely with to develop the tours and market the tours to the students. Although the majority (almost 80% of our clients) during this time were international students, we also have had a variety of other clients join our tours from booking through agents, Tourism Vancouver or directly online. In January 2010 we changed the name of our tour division to Discover Canada Tours to facilitate the expansion into other markets, including the pre & post convention market and corporate incentive market. At the same time, we are expanding our presence in the ESL market by providing activities, sports and parties through our Club ESL division. We offer a Club ESL member card to students which provide student discounts on the Discover Canada Tours.

Our goal is not just to simply sell tickets; but also, to sell memorable and unique experiences. We truly care about each and every one of our guests and strive to give them ‘the time of our lives’. Everyone in our organization is committed to this belief and will not hesitate to go above and beyond to make sure each guest is having a wonderful experience. We take pride in the fact that many of our customers were referred by past customers or are repeat customers themselves.

The primary objective of Discover Canada Tours is to provide innovative and unique travel experiences for the best value showcasing the most spectacular places, attractions and activities in Western Canada.

Over the past 5 years, we have established ourselves as experts in creating and delivering quality services and unforgettable experiences at affordable prices. We now cater to both international and Canadian travelers through a variety of tour experiences. The Discover Canada Tour division is broken down as follows:

1. Student / Budget Tours
Our fully-guided budget tours are developed specifically for the student market but are available to anyone. These tours are best suited for those who enjoy meeting people from all over the world, are seeking unique and exciting adventures and who want to have a fun and interactive experience at an affordable price while discovering the best of Western Canada.

2. Specialty Tours & FIT Travel
We are in the process of developing the following specialty tours which will be offered on a regular schedule and FIT basis; including Aboriginal tours, Wine Tours, Culinary Tours, and Wilderness Tours.

3. Custom Tours
We also specialize in creating custom tours utilizing our experience and close relationships with suppliers in Western Canada. We can design tours in a timely manner to suit any budget, duration and experience preference. We have provided custom tours to a variety of clients including:

• Pre & Post Convention Groups
• Corporate Group & Incentive Groups
• Girls weekend getaways
• Stags and Stagettes

4. Charters
We have a fleet of four 24-Passenger coaches and one 15-passenger van that are available for charters.
