Tour Description

Experience amazing champagne powder and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Sun Peaks! You will have time for 2 full days of skiing or snowboarding and relax in the evening in the hot tub or at one of the pubs or the night club.

Sun Peaks Resort is a true winter playground full of endless entertainment options for everyone! Known for it’s world class skiing and snowboarding, Sun Peaks has over 3,678 skiable acres on 3 mountains, with 121 runs. If you don’t ski or snowboard, no problem, there are countless other winter activities to try such as snow shoeing, snow mobiling, dog mushing, ice skating and more.

On this tour you will stay at the luxurious Delta Sun Peaks Resort, a fully ski-in and ski-out hotel with the only year-round heated outdoor pool. After a day of winter activities you can soak in the outdoor pool and hot tubs with full bar service and enjoy the surrounding mountain views! PLEASE NOTE THAT ON THE FEB.17 TOUR THE DELTA IS NOW SOLD OUT. THE ALTERNATE ACCOMMODATION IS THE HEARTHSTONE LODGE. The Hearthstone Lodge is another great ski-in, ski-out resort with outdoor hottubs and kitchenettes in every room.

Itinerary

Day 1 Vancouver to Sun Peaks

Depart Vancouver (Canada Place) at 1:15pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before
Enjoy games and entertainment brought to you by your lively Tour Guide enroute to Sun Peaks
Arrive at Sun Peaks and check into the Delta Sun Peaks Resort at approximately 7:00pm
After dinner, meet your guide in the lobby then depart for the ice skating rink for ice skating and the beginning of the tour campfire party
Finish the day with a nice soak in the hot pools or dance the night away at the bar which is conveniently located in the Delta Sun Peaks resort.

Day 2 Sun Peaks

Hit the slopes for a full day of skiing or snowboarding! Or choose any of the optional activities such as snow shoeing, dog sledding, snow tubing and more!
Option to meet your guide in the lobby at 9:00am for assistance in arranging any activities
9:00pm on – Meet your guide and other guests for a big party in Macdaddy’s Nightclub

Day 3 Sun Peaks to Vancouver

Enjoy another day of Winter Wonderland, full of snow action or relax in one of the resorts pools or jacuzzis!

Enjoy another free to ski / board or participate in another winter activity or explore the village
Depart Sun Peaks in the afternoon
Return to Vancouver at approximately 9:30pm

1. Optional Activities
MUST BE BOOKED AND PAID FOR 72 hrs. IN ADVANCE! The price of the activities will increase if you do not order and pay in advance.

2. Equipment Rentals
Beginners and advanced equipments can be rented. This does NOT INCLUDE CLOTHING. Clothing must be rented separately. You will need a ski jacket, ski pants, gloves and toque and goggles for skiing. You can rent the ski jacket and pants. If you require clothing rentals, please indicate in the notes what size you will need (Small, Medium, Large, X-Large). YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN GLOVES, TOQUE AND GOGGLES!

3. Accommodation
Your are staying at a beautiful mountain resort, which is equipped with heated pools and jacuzzis. Our prices are based on quad occupancy, which means 4 people sharing 2 queen size beds in a room. Upgrades are available for additional costs.

4. Items to bring:
- Warm clothing
- Swim suit
- 2 pieces of ID to get into the bars
- Gloves, tuque, goggles (if skiing or snowboarding)
- Ski jacket and ski pants (if you are not renting these items)
- Medical insurance card. If you require insurance, you can purchase this through Discover Canada Tours.
